For 25 years Dean Greer has focused his practice on the areas of Financial Rehabilitation and/or Bankruptcy for consumers and businesses. To enhance his skills, in December 1995 he became the region’s first and still only Certified Consumer Bankruptcy Law Specialist.
Dean Greer is a native of Kingsport, Tennessee. He graduated from King College, Bristol, TN in 1979 with a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration. He attained a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law, Lexington, Virginia, in May 1982. After practicing briefly in Mountain City, TN, Dean Greer opened his Law Office in January 1984. Mr. Greer was awarded his Certification as a Consumer Bankruptcy Law Specialist by the American Board of Certification. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, American Bankruptcy Institute, Tennessee Bar Association, Kingsport Bar Association, and the National Organization of Social Security Representatives.
David N. Darnell
Mr. Darnell graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Memphis. For 20 years, Mr. Darnell has provided services to businesses and people in upper east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.
Mr. Darnell is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Kingsport Bar Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the National Organization of Social Security Representatives. He is a frequent speaker for continuing legal education courses on the subjects of Long Term Disability, Bankruptcy and Probate matters.
Jeremy D. Jones
Jeremy Jones joined Dean Greer & Associates in 2013. Jeremy manages our Bristol, TN office where his areas of practice include consumer and business Bankruptcy law. Jeremy has worked with, representeed, and counseled thousands of debtors, making Jeremy one of the most experienced bankruptcy attorneys in the Tri-Cities region.
Jeremy earned his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law and his business administration degree from East Tennessee State University. Jeremy currently serves as Chair for the Tennessee Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Law Section. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney, American Bankruptcy Institute, and Tennessee Bar Association.
